Newsmast is built on Mastodons open-source social platform, so our communities bring together key contributors, conversations and fact-based news from our own users and the wider Mastodon fediverse. That’s an audience of 2.5 million and growing.

We’ve built an app around communities to support the subjects that matter to you. Contributors are front and centre, sharing knowledge and expertise with curious people. We source, elevate and celebrate diverse voices to ensure a richness of content and insight. We highlight data, maps and graphs alongside words and images. All backed by strong content moderation, creating a safe space with zero tolerance for discrimination and intolerance. With no advertising and no hidden algorithm. Content tailored by you.
